[Help] Display settings are set into Default, after running CCleaner. [help]

    Hello,

Recently I am facing a peculiar problem with Windows XP SP3. I have been using this tool called CCleaner, from many years, and I have been constantly updating it. (latest version: 3.13.1600)

BUT, recently, I am facing a peculiar problem with this quite popular tool. After running CCleaner, All my display settings gets into XP default settings . i.e. All my view and display settings are cleared, and is set into default. This happens only after running CCleaner ( not after restart. I have double checked this.)

Please help, me to solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance
    Abhishek

Open CCleaner and under 'Windows' scroll down to 'Advanced'.
Make sure that the following are NOT ticked:

    Menu Order Cache
    Tray Notifications Cache
    Window Size/Location Cache
    Environment Path

    If you use CCEnhancer:
Under 'Applications' scroll down to 'Windows'.
Make sure that the following is NOT ticked:

    Windows XP ShellBags
